Arthur, each episode highlights the culture, entertainment, and lifestyle of the Afro-Black Caribbean Diaspora in Canada and beyond. Our Story
Founded in 2003 by Royette Baptiste and Alain P. Arthur, Caribbean Vibrations TV emerged to address the lack of positive representations of the Afro-Caribbean community. Starting with weekly broadcasts in Ontario on OMNI Television and CARIBVISION, the show quickly became a favorite, with Royette as the beloved host until her untimely passing in 2012.
In honor of Royette’s legacy, Alain rebranded and expanded the show with producer Toni Anne Thomas, creating a multi-layered format that resonates deeply with the Diaspora while attracting mainstream audiences. Today, our content showcases black-owned businesses, real estate, music, entertainment, professional development, travel, and critical issues impacting the Afro-Black Caribbean Diaspora.

Alain P. Arthur
Host & Co-Founder of Caribbean Vibrations TV
As Executive Producer and CEO, Alain brings a wealth of television, live event, and music video production experience to network programming. He has produced lifestyle and entertainment content for various networks including OMNI TV, City TV and BET Canada. As a child growing up he spent formative years with his grandparents in Barbados which helped him to understand his Caribbean roots while living in North America.
Alain’s exceptional talents in sales and marketing as well as his adept skills in public relations have been the driving force behind the success of CVTV. Alain has launched Caribbean Vibrations TV into several foreign markets including the United States, the Caribbean, Dutch Caribbean, Latin America, Africa and England. Alain continues to lead CVTV’s strategic development and implementation, as well as, overseeing distribution, social media, sales and marketing.
Toni Anne Thomas
VP Operations/Executive in Charge of Production at Caribbean Vibrations TV LTD.
For over 10 years, Toni Anne has been the Director and Editor of Caribbean Vibrations producing over 100 ½ hour episodes. Capturing content in Canada, the US and 17 islands in the Caribbean, Toni Anne’s partnership with Alain P. Arthur has allowed for the creation of unique content that has changed the way people see the Caribbean Diaspora, not just as a source for things to do in the Caribbean but a place where they can see a positive representation of Caribbean people and how well we are connected together.
As Executive in Charge of Production, Toni Anne Thomas contributes a wealth of knowledge and experience to CVTV, as she has actively worked in the Canadian Film and Television Industry for over twenty years. Her experience includes managing and coordinating an array of productions in a range of genres including: Documentaries, Animation, and Variety television. In addition, Toni Anne has exceptional budget development, production management, scheduling, script-writing, video production and editing skills. Toni Anne’s well-rounded expertise and experience are highly valuable in producing quality and professional shows for Caribbean Vibrations TV.
