We speak with Judy Grandison; President of Camp Jumoke, a special camp for children living with Sickle Cell Disease. Since 1994, Camp Jumoke has been a special place for children living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD). We have sent well over 600 Canadian children to summer camp. For the families, the cost of camp represents an expense that is beyond their means. Camp Jumoke covers the cost to send each child to camp for two weeks each summer without funding from any level of government.
