Security Scare for Rihanna : but Singer Unharmed
A frightening incident unfolded at the Los Angeles home of global superstar Rihanna over the weekend, when multiple shots were fired at her Beverly Hills-area residence while she was inside.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Authorities later confirmed that a 30-year-old woman was taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and the Barbadian-born singer was unharmed during the incident.
Investigators say the suspect allegedly fired between seven and ten rounds from a vehicle parked across the street from the property. Some bullets reportedly struck the gate and exterior areas of the home, and one round penetrated part of the structure.
Authorities later tracked the suspect’s vehicle and detained her shortly after the shooting. Police also recovered the weapon believed to have been used in the attack.
The motive behind the incident remains unclear, and the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division is currently investigating the case.
